Our parent company, Newtech Industries, was first established in 1986 by Mr. Harry Tey in Malaysia. In its early years the company specialized in designing and manufacturing system office furniture. Newtech Industries was one of the first pioneers in the open plan system of modular workstations.
Artsystem was subsequently incorporated in 1994 to undertake major contracting works for residential, commercial and industrial buildings.
In the 1990s Artsystem made several expansions, including the incorporation of a second subsidiary company, and 2 other major acquisitions.
After the millennium, the services offered by Artsystem and its subsidiaries continued to grow to include services in architecture, design consultancy, project management, finance, export and trading.
Today, Artsystem operates in more than 20 countries worldwide with its headquarters based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
